To ensure the longevity of your designer velvet dress with a lush bodice and collar, it is essential to follow the care instructions provided. Here are some general guidelines to keep in mind:

1. Cleaning: Dry cleaning is the recommended method for cleaning velvet garments. Consult with a professional dry cleaner experienced in handling delicate fabrics to ensure proper care.

2. Spot Cleaning: In case of small stains or spills, gently dab the affected area with a clean, soft cloth or sponge. Avoid scrubbing vigorously as it may damage the fabric. If the stain persists, take the dress to the dry cleaner.

3. Handling: When handling the dress, be careful not to pull or stretch the fabric. It is best to handle it with clean and dry hands to avoid leaving any oils or dirt on the fabric.

4. Ironing: Ironing velvet can be tricky as excessive heat can cause irreversible damage. If necessary, use a low heat setting on your iron and place a clean cloth or a pressing cloth between the iron and the dress to protect the fabric. Gently press the garment, avoiding any rubbing or sliding motions.

5. Steaming: Steaming is an ideal alternative to ironing velvet, as it helps to remove wrinkles and freshen up the fabric. Hang the dress in a steamy bathroom or use a handheld steamer, keeping a safe distance from the fabric to avoid any water spots.

For both free and paid deliveries, you will need to make sure that you cover any ingoing customs or taxes costs should any be incurred when shipping to your destination. At Azure Avenue we do our best to deliver within the stated time, however we cannot be held responsible for any delays caused by the customs clearance of the destination country.

Returns:

Sometimes the fit isn’t right, so here at Azure Avenue we’re happy to accept returns on any garment that is unworn and still fitted with all security tags and labels within 14 days from the day you received the item. Please take care of your items when trying on so they remain make up, fake tan and stain free. We may not be able to accept your return if it is soiled or smelling like sweat or perfume. The returned product must be returned in its original packaging. All accompanying elements that came with the order must also be returned.

It’s important to note that shipping costs are not covered by Azure Avenue when sent back, so we suggest using your local post office for the best service and tracking ID.

Make sure you mail your returns back to us within 14 days of receipt.

The items that are tailored to your individual measurements  are not eligible for a return or refund. 

Payments will be credited back to the original purchasers credit card. Returns for refund are processed within 2-3 working days of receiving the item. 

Card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete, depending on their processing time. This can vary between banks, so please speak to your bank for any more info regarding processing times as we are unable to amend this.

We’re happy to process store credit refunds and these will be displayed as a code in your email inbox. This will be made available immediately after 2-3 days of processing.
